We check the roof from the outside to see the condition of it. We check for any missing/damaged tile or shingles. We check for any leaks. We do not go in the attic.
We are going to check to see if any updates have been made, and to see that everything is in good condition.
This roof inspection usually requested by the insurance companies once a house turns 25, 30 or 40 years old. They may also be requested if switching to a new/different insurance company, or if you’ve recently placed a claim.
This inspections usually takes up to 30 minutes to complete. After it is completed, the report will be sent to the insurance agent the next day. We also email a copy to the property owner.
